First Day

I had check-in for the program yesterday. We got our housing assignments and they went over some rules with us. I'm living in a 4 bedroom apartment in Chatham Square. My roommates are Christine, Kate, Amy, Nicole, Brittany, Elizabeth, and Lene. They all seem really nice. I hope it stays that way. Afterwards, we went to the casting building where they went over more rules and we found out where we are working and got our training schedules and had our background check done. I was told that I have to dye my hair to get rid of my highlights, which makes me really mad because I just had them done. I found out that I am going to be working at Magic Kingdom. Later, we had a housing meeting that was really boring and long. Also, my roommates and I went out to dinner at House of Blues at Downtown Disney. I have today off, so I'm going to buy some stuff I need for my room, especially food. I have training tomorrow at 6:45 am aaaaaah!

Shopping

I went shopping with my mom for some final stuff for the college program. I bought some instant rice for the first day or two before we get to go to the store, granola bars for the plane, a hello kitty coloring book, a dress for meetings, a couple sundresses, 2 pairs of jeans (they're a little long but oh well), and a pair of shorts.
My mp3 player died so hopefully I'll be able to get another one. It's such bad timing. I wouldn't know what to do without music on the plane ... or for very long in general.

5 days!

I can't believe I only have five days left until my disney college program starts. My cats keep climbing into my suitcase or sitting on top of it when it's closed lol. I'm getting my hair cut and my highlights touched up tonight so I will be all set for the disney look. I finally found some dress pants that fit me. Actually, my grandmother did. Sorry that's all I have to say for now.

One Week!

I can't believe I only have one week until I start the Disney college program. I cannot wait! I still have a lot of getting ready to do. I'm a procrastinator. I'm done with my job at the grocery store. I am really going to miss my internship at the zoo, though. Tomorrow is my last day there. My supervisors are taking me out to eat after, so that is really nice. I got bit by a parrot at work Saturday. I posted a picture of him. Everyday I give Spaz (blue and gold macaw) a peanut for a treat, but I decided to give him an almond instead. He did not like that. He's usually such a good boy. Thank you Christine for being my one and only subscriber. Sorry I'm so boring.

Stuff to Buy and Scott Brown

I need to go shopping for stuff before I go down to Florida. I'm planning to go with my sister this weekend. I need to get business pants and/or skirts, a combination lock, camera batteries, benadryl, wireless router, nylons, headphones, a binder, and shorts if I can find some. I also need to order some checks, but my mom might have to mail them to me. I hope I'm not forgetting anything.

I'm really happy that Scott Brown won the election. My family knows him personally, and he's a really nice guy. I think he'll do a great job in the senate.

Packing and Golden Globes

I just started to actually pack some stuff. I'm flying down, so I have to fit everything into 2 suitcases somehow. It's really challenging. I'm trying to figure out what stuff I really want/need to bring. So far I've packed some clothes (not everything I need tho), a couple towels, facecloths, shower curtain and liner, flashlight, Tinkerbell bowl, scrapbook kit, mattress cover, & bananagrams game.
I'm really happy Glee won the Golden Globe award for best television series- comedy or musical. I love that show.

Election

Hey I just noticed that there is an ad on the side of this page that is discouraging people from voting for Scott Brown. I didn't put that up, but I don't know how to remove it. I am actually supporting Brown and will be voting for him tomorrow. Anyway, I'm checking in at Disney for the college program in 2 weeks. I'm so excited!

Organizing and American Idol

I have so much organizing to do to get ready for disney. I go down in two weeks. My room is still pretty messy and I have a bunch of junk in the garage in need to go through. I also have to buy some stuff and do some other errands. Anyway, I love American Idol and I'm so excited for the new season!

Intro

I'm doing the Disney College program as a performer starting this February. I wanted to be able to share my experience, especially with people who are considering doing the program. I'm really excited for Disney and I can't wait to tell you all about it.
